What's Your Sleeping Schedule?

I'm curious. ....What is your sleeping schedule? What time do you tend to go to bed, and what time to you get up? Would you say that it is easy for you to fall asleep and wake up, or hard?

Overall, does your sleeping routine work for you?

I'm a mom of 4, expecting our 5th in about 3 mths and I seem to be experiencing a regression in the pregnancy. What I mean is...some days I am so dreadfully nauseated and tired that I just can't seem to function. Some days I get up around 7:30 or 8 and HAVE to crash on the couch as soon as I put the baby down for her nap...anywhere between 10:30 and 12.

My normal or average schedule would be something like...go to bed around 10-11 or so...get up around 7-ish. Sometimes 8. Like I said before, lately I've been having to crash out around midday. But if I don't I'm still usually ready to hit the hay around 9, but my DH is a night-owl and prefers to me to stay up with him and spend time together.

My sleeping schedule is awful! I stay up late, and get up at the last possible second. I know I would function better with more sleep, but I never seem to get to bed at a decent hour. When I do get to bed, I often lay awake, thinking through things (like projects), thinking about my day, or worrying about something I forgot to do at work. My sleep schedule is something I definitely need to work on!

Goodness, I NEED to have a sleep schedule. Before marrying, I used to be in bed by 9:30 and up about 6:30. Mr. U is a night owl and I've been staying up with him which is TOO LATE for me!! I'll go to bed about 11:30 and then get up at 6:00 when Miss Elizabeth wakes up. No wonder I'm tired all day!!!

Oh I forgot to answer the other questions...

It is very easy for me to fall asleep. Waking up... well... that's another matter entirely. If it is already light outside, then I can wake up fine. But if it is still dark, I feel like I'm in a fog until I've had my shower. :)

My sleep schedule is currently very strange. I go to bed whenever my husband leaves for work - could be 11:30 p.m., midnight, or later. Then, I ALWAYS wake up before 7:00 a.m. No matter now tired I am. Since we homeschool, I can go back to sleep, but I'm a terrible sleeper. Lately though, I have gone back to sleep until around 9:00 a.m. or so. It will be a different story once school starts in the fall.

In a perfect world I would be in bed by 10:00 p.m., asleep by 11:00 (after reading or watching some HGTV), then wake up by 7:00 a.m.

Did you ask for our ideal sleeping schedule OR our actual one?

Ideally, I would be asleep by 10:00-10:30 and up at 6:00. Since we recently relocated to another state, my schedule has been otherwise. I have trouble sleeping, which means I'm awake til midnight or later and then sleep till 7:30 or so. I would rather be up earlier before the kids get up. It's the only quite time in the house.

I would love to go to sleep around 10pm and get up at 6am. that would be ideal

It seems I can never go to sleep before midnight. Even if I go to bed early, I'm always up reading. If I'm home the next day, I wake up at 8 and it works just fine, but if I'm not... ohh that's too bad :) Sometimes I only get 5 hours of sleep.

I'm with Mrs. U--9:30 to bed and 6:30 wake up. Usually once a week (like tonight) i stay up unti 2 or 3, to do homework (went back to college) and then I'm up no later than 8.

I have a before bed routine that involves prayer and Noxema (not in that order) and I usually fall asleep easily. I wake up fairly easily, too. I do have trouble staying asleep.

I have the worst insomnia! I have to take a prescription sleep aid (Lunesta or Ambien) just to fall asleep.

I try to be in bed by 10 pm, as I have to wake up Monday through Thursday at 6 am to go to work.

On Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday I sleep in until my kids wake me up (usually 8 am).
