Free Samples Got You Overwhelmed?

Put your free samples to good use! A Lady Beautiful reader had a wonderful suggestion (please come forward as I've missed placed the message)! Use all your tiny samples for quick and light packing! Over the past year I've managed to accumulate a lot of free samples, especially from Olay. So now, I keep some in my travel bag for quick packing! Samples size containers save space and money, and allow you to try something new!

Samples are perfect for traveling! The last time my husband and I went on vacation we stayed at a fairly nice hotel, and so I didn't pack shampoo or conditioner, since I knew the hotel would have them. However, after two days of washing my hair with the hotel's shampoo, I was sorry I didn't slip one of my samples into my cosmetic bag "just in case". The hotel shampoo made my hair feel like straw!

I like to sign up for samples (online) and have gotten quite a quantity of shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, etc. The toothpaste especially is *great* for traveling!

Sadly, I usually get so excited over "free samples" that I use them as soon as I get them!!!

Glad I stumbled upon your blog. I just love all your posts! So informative :) Thank you.

Yes, those little samples do come in quite handy. I especially keep a sample of hand sanitizer in my purse. I was made aware in a health magazine of some nasty germs that are on shopping carts. Needless to say I use my hand sanitizer after I'm done with the shopping cart.

They're also great for guest bathrooms, in case someone forgot a little something.

Hi Melissa,

I just saw your comment on The Online Finishing school. I'm afraid I haven't put up all of the posts that all of our online teachers graciously did. But, I hope to get them done this year. In the meantime, you can visit my other blog, "the Merry Rose" or Emma's blog "charming the Birds form the Trees" and pretty much piece together which blogs to visit to read all the articles from all of the "teachers".

Create your personal toothpaste. It is rather basic to accomplish this. Simply take some cooking soft drink and combine it with a bit of water. Make use of the paste to clean your pearly whites, after which rinse off the mouth completely. This can be a less costly way to get your pearly whites clean, and performs nearly as nicely.
